Pune

Took these snaps when I went to Pune for an Industrial visit from my college. The journey was totally fun. The climate was awesome and the view was breathtaking. I hope I captured some good snaps.

These are my attempts at speed photography inside them tunnels on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. Needless to say, my skills are pretty pathetic.

Snaps taken on my Nokia 6070 (image quality is lousy, but what else can you expect from a CMOS VGA cam in a Rs. 4.5k mobile phone?). Location: Kharghar Hills.

These were taken on my friend's phone cam:

Fairies?

Both these photos were accidental. These were taken at my neighbouring college, the NIFT, during the fashion show of their festival Spectrum. The rotating stage lights were in my direction at the wrong time. But I think these came out ok.

Doesn't this look like the apparition of a fairy out of an orb of light?

The college canteen

That's me...dull and boring as ever...

My college canteen. Well, the canteen does feel pre-historic.

The little sneak

My classmate Prashant Mondkar trying to hide behind the water jugs to avoid being spotted by the professors who had just entered the canteen. This pic was taken by my friend Venkat, who was sitting next to me. The expression on Mondkar's face is just priceless.

Why another blog when I don't update the slobspot?

I consider photography as one of my hobbies. So I thought why not start a photoblog? And being the lazyass that I am, I think this requires burning a very few calories typing stuff (which I could've been doing on my other blog, which is gathering dust, moss and what not due to my laziness). And this doesn't require me laying a lot of stress on my few brain cells either.

Anyway, I'll try to post as many photos as I can, which I will be taking with the VGA cam on my mobile phone, or my dad's Sony T33, or something that I might have clicked with my friends' cameras (including camera phones).

I'm no pro-photographer, I'm no veteran in this, I'm just an amateur, but I think this photoblog will be an excuse to improve my photography skills....lets see...
